Stopping In To Update

I have really wanted to start creating, but I slept

most of the holiday away. I had a cold that has gone for the most part,

but today is the 6th day that I haven't had my voice.

It is trying to make an appearance, but it's not quite there.

I feel like I may have a fever on and off.

I have already made a New Year's Resolution and that is

that I am going to try really hard to create more Posers, and improve

my art along the way.

I've been practicing, and this is what I came up with.

My home network went poof and the ISP was being an A$$ about helping me, even

though I pay for the extra service. Yesterday I called and threatened to keep phoning

until my service was back up and running. It didn't take long for the tech guy to start

checking my line and having me try and reset the service. We found out that it was the

modem that was done. He sent a fax to one of the satellite sites here in town, and I was

able to get another modem instead of waiting a week.

I picked up the new modem and came home to set it up. He had told me that I had to call

back to have the wireless set up manually because it isn't set up by default on the system

that I have. I called and got another tech guy on the line who was so helpful and talked

me through the whole process. He even made sure that another computer would join the

network with no issues. I wish that all of them were that considerate.

So I'm thrilled that my home network is up and running smoothly.

I started to check my email and found the goodies sent for the Poser course that I am taking.

I downloaded them as instructed and kept checking my mail. The first lesson was even there

a little further down. I've gone through it and will try again later. We get one lesson a week,

so we have a lot of time to go through it to try to understand it.

I'm one happy camper, except for the fact that once I get a point in a lesson, I want to keep

going.

I guess I'll have to find some Halloween tuts to do, to keep me busy in the meantime.

Good Evening Poser World

I haven't been doing a lot in the world of my Posers in the last little while.

The heat has been unbearable for me, and I've been suffering so badly

with my headaches. I'm still hurting, but now that the weather is starting

to cool down a little, I hope that I can get started at creating again.

I've got a couple of ideas, and have had a friend give me some ideas. Don't

know if they will all come into existence, but will start working on some of

the ideas. Yes, I will be working on creating some more male Posers. They

are a challenge, and when I'm working on something, I love the challenge.

Just really wanted to let people know that I was still around, just not in

a very creative mood. I'm debating to put my PSPing on the back burner

for now unless I'm working on skins for Aimoo. I really do want to concentrate

on Posers for the time being.

I know that there isn't a living to be made from them, but we are also in a

bit of a financial bind, so am thinking of trying to sell the odd few. I will still

be making the majority of them as Freebies. It's either trying to sell them, or

put up a donation area. I should make up my mind on that in the next few

days.

Working On A New Poser

I felt like creating a Poser today, but she is giving

me a bit of a problem. Most Posers as I create them, talk to me.

This one is quiet, I'm not getting any kind of a read on her.

I just can't figure it out. LOL

I will work on it for another hour or so, and hopefully I

will be able to post her tomorrow some time.

I am going back to my given name, Darlene, and away from China.
WyldAngel Designz is still my copyright, but with
so many names, it was getting confusing to all, and

New Poser Finally Up and Posted

I've finally got a Poser done that I'm relatively happy with.

LOL I lost several poses to fuzzy space late the other night

and then today I accidentally saved my .psp files as .png,

and had deleted the view before double checking.

The new Poser is named Jennine, and I have to thank Gail

for sending me a list of name suggestions. Anyone is

welcome to send name suggestions, as I draw a blank when

it comes to naming. hehehe

What A Night!!

I haven't gotten any sleep tonight. I spent the night trying to understand DAZ 4, and I finally think that I have a partial handle on the program. It really looks like it will be easier to use that the earlier versions, or at least I'm hoping that it will be.

I did get my first Poser created, but I didn't render it. :( I did a preview, the lighting was way off. I'm going to have to play with that, or get some lighting that will not leave those ugly long silver marks on clothes or skin when a render is done.

With that, at 8:25 AM, I am going to fall into bed for a couple of hours and try to get some sleep. Then I will get back to it, and hopefully I will be able to create something and even render it.

I Know That I've Been MIA Again

I have had many issues to deal with, and have missed creating. I've been working on dealing with RL, and I'm hoping that this week, I can spend some time in DAZ. I have signed up for a course to learn Poser, but that won't be until the fall sometime.

The calendar says that it is spring, and later this month it will be summer. That's some kind of a joke because it feels like fall and winter. I do hope that we get a little bit nicer weather. In total, we haven't had more than a week of nice days, I'd say.

An Update of Sorts

I'm so sorry that I haven't gotten to add any new Posers lately.
Seems that my mojo has gone on vacation. It's not just affecting
Posers, but I haven't created in PSP either. I have not even been to
any of my groups in the last little while.
I'm also not feeling too well. The arthritis in my back is keeping me
pretty well down. I have tried to play at FB some, but can't sit all
that long.
I want my mojo back...I want to start creating again. Hopefully soon.

Trying To Create Again

I've been trying to create a male Poser, that doesn't

look stiff and artifical.

Males are a lot harder to create. I can't see the reasoning

behind the fact that they are so hard to deal with.

Must be a carry over from real life. But that's a story for another

time and place.

These are the two finalists from trying today.

to end up being the final product.

I finally fell asleep last night, which was amazing because I had the headache from hell. Then, not too much to my surprise, I woke up with it, but at a little milder level.

I really am going to have to find a doctor who will send me to a neurologist and find out what is going on. Well, I kind of know what is going on, since I was told by one neurologist that the pain will just continue to get worse. Usually it gives me a bit of a break in between times, and lets me get used to the new intensity of pain. But this time it just seems to be giving me no break.

I would like to make a few tags today and maybe try to create some kind of a new blog blinkie or two, but can't seem to concentrate on anything. I think I may take a couple of asprin and try to lay down for a bit. Maybe that will help a little.

I have seen some that totally rock out there, and have no clue how they

are made. The one that I have one my blog at the moment was something

that I created in a hurry, and am not happy with it.

I would love for them to be animated, and of course to have my Posers

used on them.

My First Mini Scrap Kit

I'll Be Starting To Work...

...On posting some of my older Posers for the time being.

Hubby has left for work, and all the visitors have left. I'm here alone with my dog, so it's time to start tracking down some of those Posers, zipping them and posting them for you to use. That is, if you'd like to.

It's another very chilly day here, so my dog won't want to go out too much. Right now she is hiding under the bed, scratching at her doggy bed.

I'll Be Creating Again

Yes, I have decided that I've been away long enough, and will be creating again.

First off...I recently had my laptop stolen, so hubby gave me the new one that he had ordered and is making do with his for a while. It was his fault that the laptop was stolen because he left it in the van, and we're guessing that his friend forgot to lock it. All my tags that I've been gifted and a few new ones that didn't make it to PB are gone.

I will be storing very little in the new laptop. I've got it set up so that I can share stuff from my desktop. Not sure how that's going to work, but we'll see. I am also going to go out and buy another external just for the laptop and my Posers.

While I am working on new Posers, I was thinking of uploading some of my older ones as a fill in for the time being. Some have seen these and many of the new friends that I have met along the way have not. I will have to zip up the files and make a preview or two. Be on the lookout for these. I'm hoping to have them done by the end of the weekend.

I am pretty much at the mercy of my bed right now because my back is extremely sore, and I have to be very careful when I move. So it seems like a good time to get busy and do some of the things that I've been missing.

It is a very chilly day here today. Even the dog doesn't want to stay out too long. Just long enough to do her thing, and then runs back in the house. Today is also her birthday. She is 11 years old. Next month, I will have had her 11 years. She was only 4 weeks old when I got her as a birthday gift.

Life's Been At It Again

I have been mostly absent from the computer world again except basically for FB. My mother passed away on May 15, and I've had a terrible time dealing with it. I thought that if I could get back to PSP or maybe designing some Posers, it would take my mind off of it, but I thought wrong. I would try to do something, and then my thoughts would wander to some time with Mom, and there goes what I was working on. I have managed to do a couple of tutorials, but those were even struggles.

It's a month and a half now, and after the long weekend, I am going to give designing Posers a try again. I miss working with Posers, but I miss my mom too. I'm sure that many people understand this feeling.

On top of this, I've been suffering with horrible headaches and our weather has been affecting the arthritis in my back. One day it's so hot that I can't stand it, and the next it's cold enough that it feels like it might snow. We were out today running some errands, and I noticed that the leaves have started to change on some of the trees. It's only July 1, and already, the leaves have started to change and fall. It's just telling us that the nights have been very cold.

Got My New Computer

I went out a week ago and got my new computer. I'm still in the process of getting to know it since it is much different from my previous one. The first big difference is that it came with Windows7. That was scarey all in itself. Then when I was talking to the tech guy, I told him that it had to deal with graphics with no stall or shutdown. He told me that my best bet would be a gaming machine. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything in stock by HP that would fit that bill. I ended up purchasing a Gateway FX. This thing has so many bells and whistles on it, I don't think that I will ever get to know them all. The deal was made even better because he threw in a 23"flat screen monitor.

I finally did get PSP installed and got most of my filters to work. I have DAZ installed, but none of the models or anything else.

I will be away next week for a few days as my husband has to go and have surgery on his eye. I may spend the weekend setting up DAZ in my laptop, since I will be taking it with me, and maybe I can create something while I am waiting for him to come out of surgery.

Hope that everyone has a great weekend. Hope that the weather in your part of the world is starting to be nice and that spring is on its way. We are being threatened with more snow, but I have my fingers crossed that it stays away at least until we get back home.

I'm Going To Drive Myself Crazy

First off, my desktop is starting to act strange again, so later this week or sometime next week, I will be going out to get a new one. That's a frightening thought with Windows 7 installed, and not knowing if programs will run with it.

I finally got Poser 8, and think that I am ready to give it another try. The thought is frightening even more than Windows 7, but I've never let anything stop me, so I really have to give this a try.

We will be away for 3 days next week for a medical appointment, but I made a cd of the Poser Reference Guide and Tutorial Guide, so will have something to read and try to get a head start on them. Will have my laptop with me, but don't know if it would run Poser. May try and put in on the external for the laptop, but not for this trip.

I've had major headaches and backaches. The headaches, I know where they come from and there is nothing that can be done for them. The backaches, I know where they are from as well. I hurt myself in a skidooing accident when I was 17. I've had xrays and blood work done so far, and nothing has been found. I have to wait until the 29th of this month before I can get a CT Scan done. I hate waiting.

It's just after 2:00 AM here, so I think that I am going to try to get some sleep, though it's been pretty elusive lately.

Woohoo, I've Finally Got a Poser To Share

Daria, was done in Poser Pro. The lighting stinks to a point, but I'm still really new to Poser in any form.

I'm still trying to fight with Poser in hopes that I'll be able to use it. Not sure about Poser Pro though. Can't seem to find all of the dials and things that were in Poser 8.

I'm So Frustrated

I have sat down so many times at this computer, even when I was having Internet service problems, to try to create something new, and my mojo has just gone. I can't seem to create anything, let alone a Poser or 2. :(

If anyone has some spare mojo, just send it off in my direction please. I have so many ideas roaming around in my head, but when I try to put it down into a program, it looks like my dog's breakfast. Oh hummmm...I guess that it will return when it's ready to. Well, at least then, I'll be ahead next Christmas, because I really want to create some winter and Christmas Posers.

A New Start

I made a decision to make a completely new start in this blog. So, I totally deleted everything that had been here. I am looking for another background for here as well, but seem to be having trouble getting them to set in properly.

I am going to start creating in DAZ again, so I will be sharing my Posers here, as well as some masks and attempts at tag templates.

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend. We have snow on the ground, but it is just a taste of winter, though it is more than we've had before. I am not looking forward to winter or the snow this year.

Well peeps, I'm off to try and get some sleep, and after a few hours, I will attempt to install a new background here, and then start to create something to share.
